More playing with watercolors. No acrylics used at all this time, although I was tempted.
I actually used a lot of brushes in this, despite my usual disgust with them. Umm, this was meant to be the Tool song, Lateralus. The upper left corner is a more literal, coherent interpretation of the lyrics, while as you go towards the lower right corner it becomes more of how I see/hear the song itself. "Black then white are all I see in my infancy Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me, let's me see There is so much more that beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities" Go read the lyrics. I'd love to see you do some serious work with watercolors. The color work that you do would be really nice in watercolors, although I've found that I almost always have to use acrylics with them, just cuz I love to have that texture in my paintings.

Try using them in combo with your acrylics if you like, it's a little bit challenging to blend things and work as you normally would on a piece, but I think it pays off in the end!
